Ari corrects the sword angle
of a young student.
You have reached the Round-A-Bout on the web!
We teach authentic and historically accurate
western fighting technique with a focus on the sword.
We train using manuals written by masters of the
combat arts in the dark ages to the renaissance. We
teach practical sword combat using the material of
archaic German and Italian texts and we can bring it
to you in a kinesthetic learning environment.

Seeing that there are many misconceptions
regarding what western martial arts are, I thought it
wise to include are list of what they aren't.
Sport fencing is not a martial art. It is a sport. We
do not teach it.
We don't teach SCA style "Stick-tag". We teach
serious martial arts, this isn't just an outlet to hit
someone else with a stick or a boffer.
We don't teach stage combat. Stage combat is
not a martial art, it's a performing art designed to look
flashy. Martial arts are designed to be efficient.
We don't teach "samurai" or "ninja" style
swordsmanship, nor is this kendo. As I said before, if
you want an outlet to hit someone else with a stick,
go check out SCA.
